I wanted my next post to be about the eldest and the most vital part of not just our household but the entire Saiyed Clan..yes there are about 150 more of us that are scattered all over the World. MA! I am talking about Nani Amma - (Mrs. Halima B. Saiyed) my husband's maternal grandmother. I really have never met a woman like her. She was married at 17 to a 34 year old. She has 7 kids of her own and 4 more that are from her husband's previous marriage to her older sister. I literally could write a book about her .  She is a plethora of information about the Saiyeds. I can just sit with her for hours and just listen to her talk. Too bad I don't have the time any more. But when I first got married and didn't have a job or kids (ahh those were the days...ok totaly getting off track) she told me so much that I can proudly say that I know more about my husband's family then he does. :) But seriously she is amazing! So I have been thinking for quite a few days about starting a blog..I mean everyone is doing it these days...so why not join the bandwagon..but then wondered..what the heck do I write about?? I mean I don't have any extreme talents, advice, insights or any great accomplishments that I can share.. So why not start with my wonderful, loving, and extremely chaotic family...which has to be my most prized possession, and pretty much what my life revolves around. Ok..so we are definitely not the regular American household with 2 adults and 2 kids that wake up at 7 AM go to school/work, are back by 5 and have the lights out by 9 P.M..There is constant activity from 7AM till 1AM in our beloved 3 bedroom townhouse (1826), that we have been trying to sell unsuccessfully for literally years, however it always manages to somehow accommodate our growing number of members Mashallah!!!
